Mazak brings latest generation 5-axis machining to Autosport & Southern Manufacturing

Yamazaki Mazak will be exhibiting its INTEGREX i-400S Multi-Tasking machining centre at the upcoming Autosport Engineering and Southern Manufacturing 2019 exhibitions. The i-400S features a large 1500mm machining bed with a completely new design offering higher performance machining and greater workpiece capacity than any other multi-tasking machines in its size range.

Mazak Apprentices Enjoy Award-Winning Night

Yamazaki Mazak apprentices celebrated a series of wins at the 2018 Worcestershire Group Training Association (WGTA) Annual Awards evening. The event, which showcases those that have excelled over the last 12 months, was held on Wednesday 14th November at Sixways Stadium in Worcester. Three Mazak apprentices picked up individual awards at the ceremony.

Yamazaki Mazak is set to showcase the latest addition to its 5-axis range of hybrid machining centres at Southern Manufacturing 2018 (FIVE Farnborough, 6-8 February). The VARIAXIS j-600/5X AM, which made its European debut at EMO, employs a Wire-Arc AM (Additive Manufacturing) head on a 5-axis vertical machining centre to enable high-speed additive and subtractive manufacturing on one combined platform.
